History

SANNA-LITIER Group was founded in 2007 in the result of strategic partnership of SANNA Group known from 1991 and Logistic Management Company LITIER. The idea of the strategic partnership was to establish the largest multimodal logistic network in the European part of Russia based on 4 A-class Logistic Centers in Moscow, Nizhny Novgorod and Rostov-on-Don and 2 Port Logistic Complexes in Dmitrov (Moscow region) and Kaliningrad. LITIER Group acts as the investor and SANNA-LITIER Group founded on the basis of SANNA Group acts as the network logistic operator.
The project and partnership goal is to provide the Clients with a full complex of high-end logistic services.

The history of SANNA began in 1991 from one truck and two people.

1993-1995 The Company had a fleet of eight 20-ton heavy-duty motor vans.
 SANNA entered the Association of International Road Carriers (AIRC) and was one of the first to receive the license of an all-Russia customs carrier. The transport company created a freight forwarding subdivision.

1996-1997 The Company provided the haulage of Michael Jackson’s, Tina Turner’s tours and of Boris Yeltsin’s pre-election campaign. The volume of haulage by own and rented transport facilities reached 600 trucks a month. SANNA became the official carrier of the La Bourge salon.

2000-2001 SANNA was awarded a diploma of the Russian Ministry of Transport at the National Forum “Transport and Logistics in the XXI Century” that was held in the Kremlin as the best logistic company in Russia. The Company’s fleet totaled 57 motor vans.

2002-2003 SANNA was awarded a diploma as the most cost-effective transport company in the framework of The Logistic Operator of Russia 2002 rating. On the Transport Ministry delegation SANNA represented Russian Federation at international meetings on Transport Corridor IX. The transport fleet exceeded 2000 motor vans, including 78 owned.   The Krasnodar Transport Logistics Centre was founded with the participation of the Krasnodar Territory administration and the Transport Ministry. SANNA became the first in the Russia-2003 Logistic Operator rating.

2004-2005 The Company started warehouse operations. SANNA won the Best Carrying and Forwarding Company Diploma in Russia-2004 Logistic Operator rating. The Company had 216 motor vans in direct management.
The Company actively participated in round tables organized by the government of Russian Federation on the Russian freight-forwarding market. SANNA developed “The Concept of Krasnodar region transport logistics” on request of Krasnodar regional administration.

2006-2007 The partnership agreement with several major warehouse operators was signed. The Company managed over 250 motor vans and had contracted more than 4500. SANNA-LITIER Group was founded as the result of strategic partnership with the Logistic Management Company LITIER. SANNA-LITIER acts as the logistic operator and LITIER establishes warehouse logistic network.

In 2008 SANNA-LITIER Group received the license of a customs broker and signed a straight contract with Joint Stock Company "Russian Railways" TSÑ. The first LITIER logistic network logistic centre starts warehouse operations in Domodedovo, Moscow region. The number of SANNA heavy-duty truck haulages exceeded 35 thousand. The company transport potential is secured by more than 6300 trucks of Russian and foreign carriers.
