The Results of X Moscow International Logistics Forum
The X Moscow International Logistics Forum
was held in Moscow on February 11-15. Among the discussed topics there were the questions of managing the effective deliveries of goods in domestic and international markets, including the whole chain of product distribution (from the purchase of raw materials to the deliveries to end users).
Forum became the place of traditional yearly meetings of CEOs as well as professionals in the field of logistics, supply chains management, purchase management, customs, storage, distribution, IT.
The educational course “Corporate logistics: Optimization of the company’s transport-warehouse system”, the 5-th International Conference “Logistics and supply chains management: new challenges and answers” and professional sessions became the main events of the forum.
The companies’ experience of logistics projects execution, logistics outsourcing and logistics decisions was discussed within the professional sessions on February, 14.
Among the participants there were such companies as SANNA-LITIER, Partner Logistic, STS LOGISTICS, Desan, Bayer, Victoria, Alligator-product, Relogix.
Alexey Tsatsulin, SANNA-LITIER Terminal Executive Director, gave a speech “Fresh and Deep-frozen Products Logistics: the Possibility of Outsourcing“ within the session “Logistics outsourcing experience”. Mr Tsatsulin provided a short analysis of fresh and deep frozen warehouses market situation, depicted the main problems arising during planning and construction of an own warehouse, suggested an appropriate decision for entering the regional markets and analyzed the risks connected with own warehouses and outsourcing.
