The Transport System Development 2010-2015 program was set up in April this year with a $500bln budget to help fund regional transport projects on condition that regional officials also put up funds in each case.
The $1bln airport, to be named Yuzhny, is to be 60% financed by private sources, with the rest to be put up mainly by federal sources though some $31mln will come from regional budgets, Marchmont Capital Partners said.
