SANNA-LITIER Selects RedPrairie’s Warehouse Management System to Power Exponential Revenue Growth, Drive Competitive Advantage and Become most Profitable Logistics Provider in the Dynamic Russian Market
SANNA-LITIER Group, one of Russia’s fastest-growing full-service third party logistics providers, has gone live with RedPrairie’s market-leading Warehouse Management suite at its 9 505 sq.m Logistic centre LITIER Domodedovo, close to one of Russia’s largest airports. The implementation has been successfully executed and LITIER Domodedovo warehouse already operates under RedPrairie WMS.
SANNA-LITIER Group chose RedPrairie over a number of other world-leading vendors for its highly configurable applications and ability to meet the different warehousing needs of multiple clients in a single solution. “RedPrairie offered us an unrivalled combination of world-class functionality used by leading European and American logistics providers,” says Sanna Litier CEO Onik Aznauryan. “ RedPrairie‘s Warehouse Management suite will enhance our competitive edge through innovation and customer service. ”
The implementation at LITIER Domodedovo is the first of 7 planned in 2010-2011 on all the LITIER network A-class warehouses. As the result SANNA-LITIER Group will manage the logistic operations of LITIER multimodal logistic network with warehousing space of more than 500 ths. sq.m equipped by world-class, fully Web-enabled, end-to-end automated processes. A total of 800 operatives will eventually use the solution that runs on best of breed out-of-the-box functionality with no customisations while being fully localised and incorporating Russian language capabilities. Warehouse Management is also fully integrated with SANNA-LITIER back office systems, which will drive efficiencies throughout the business.
RedPrairie’s itemised billing capabilities ensure invoicing transparency while self-service, Web-based system access allows customers to track the status of all consignments in real time.
SANNA-LITIER will be able to experience the benefits of lower operating overheads with RedPrairie’s automated yard management, storage optimisation, and real-time stock taking capabilities. Paper-based putaway and picking have been replaced by RDT scanners resulting in improved operator productivity, accuracy and faster throughput.
Warehouse Management will help to reduce transit time, improve security and cut storage costs.

The total area of the warehouses will make over 500 000 m2, besides the logistic complexes will have different temperature zones (from -24? to +18? Ñ). The area of fresh and deep frozen warehouses will make about 130 000 m2.
The A-Class warehouse complex LITIER Domodedovo located in the South of Moscow region (Don highway in 11 km from Moscow Ring Road) with total area of 9 505 sq.m. started operations in Q1 2008.
The amount of investment exceeds $500 mln.
